I have been a professional web designer for 20 years. I design around 50 websites per year.
I am currently in my 5th year as Lead Web Designer for Make it Loud Web Design and Digital Marketing, an Atlanta area media company. I also offer freelance design services in Virginia for new and existing clients.

More Than Straight Lines
Web design is basically boxes and straight lines. But with a little imagination it doesn't have to be that way. I like using curves to make the design flow as you scroll, directing the site visitor's attention to where you need it to be. It's also a LOT of fun.
Movement
Google creates a quandry for web designers because they discourage rankings for websites with too much "Cumulative Layout Shift", which means too much stuff flying around. Reload this page to see how subtle motion can still be accomplished.
Mobile Web Design
Over half of all visits to your website will come from mobile devices. Designing a website for desktop computers, tablets and smartphones requires knowlege of how to fit the pieces together for all platforms. I know how to build great mobile websites.
AI Generated Content
AI can certainly generate raw text, but you have to know what you're doing to generate compelling, search engine friendly text for a commercial website. It's all in what you tell AI to do. That's something I have been doing since AI became publicly available.
Software Tools
Web design has come a LONG way. Now I use the Divi page builder, a design tool that's innovative, robust, fast, and has a large number of supporting plugins that can generate spectacular features for commercial websites. I build beautiful websites.
